The Smart Walk

The QR codes in Tenhave woods have been temporarily removed due to repeated vandalism. We hope to return the QR codes soon.

This is an on-going project put together by both the Royal Oak Nature Society and Tree First. It is aimed to promote environmental stewardship and foster a better understanding of our natural areas.

As you walk amongst our giant trees, whistling birds, and foraging squirrels, please remember that you are in their home. Treat this place as you would treat someone else’s home.

Along the Sandbar Trail you can find a number of QR codes that each link to a brief web page. Each one describes a specific tree or forest feature that is adjacent to the QR code. These web pages may change as the seasons progress, so be sure to check again later!
